Platt getting ready for rematch with Middletown

Blue Dragons beat the Platt Panthers in week one, what will happen tomorrow.

Middletown High School will have a chance to play for the Class L state title.
The Blue Dragons host Platt of Meriden tomorrow night.
The Platt Panthers were on the field this afternoon getting ready for its quarter-final match up.
The two schools met earlier in the season– and if their playoff game is anything like the regular sesason match up– it’s gonna be a good one.
“We feel really confident going into this game I think its just a great thing to get a round two with a team that beat us in week 1, I think we’re a far better team than we were when we first played them, we’ve matured as a whole unit, said Platt Senior Julian Badillo.
“Hopefully its gonna be an evenly matched game, like I said I know they’re gonna be ready to go, they have a tremendous amount of athletes, their line is a huge, they do a great job. Hopefully it will come out our way, if it doesnt will wish Middletown luck for the future,” said Platt Head Coach Jasen Bruenn. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
