(WTNH)–Hillhouse hosted a playoff game for the first time ever on Tuesday night, and fans didn’t leave the newly renovated Bowen Field disappointed. The Academics came back to beat New Fairfield, thanks in large part to star running back Matthew Brehon.

Brehon turned on the jets for an 87-yard touchdown run early in the third quarter. He’d add another one on a sweet run a little bit later.

Hillhouse beat New Fairfield, 27-14.

It’s the seventh straight playoff win for the Academics. They don’t always reach the state playoffs, but when they do, watch out.
