(WTNH)–Over at Southern Connecticut State, there’s a new leading scorer in school history.
Waterbury native Mike Mallory jumped into the Owls’ number 1 spot recently. Talent, hard work, determination. Mallory is the perfect example of you get out what you put in. The talented guard is just a few points away from 2,000 for his career.
He says the Division 2 experience has been great, and although he thought about going Division 1 after former coach Mike Donnelly left for Florida Southern, he was pumped to play for former UConn great Scott Burrell.
