(WTNH)–The Connecticut Sun showed signs of promise last season, something that had to make coach Curt Miller happy. Now, the coach will have even more say in the team’s success, as he’s also their general manager.
Miller has been on the job for the last four months. The Sun missed the playoffs last season, finishing ninth.
This year though, they’ll bring back talented players like Chiney Ogwumike and former UConn star Morgan Tuck. The work never stops for a coach and G.M.
“Busy, just coming out of WNBA meetings, and released right before the WNBA meetings was our schedule, the earliest its been released in WNBA history,” Miller said. “So now there’s a blueprint now you see whats going to happen, and where you’re going to be so the plans have started with our travel and excitement and the difficult parts of the schedule that we’ve been given but excited that it’s out.”
Miller said he was in Indiana scouting players at Wednesday night’s UConn-Notre Dame game.
